I would like to add one thing here coz i been watching tht all want to guess what's panned in a day ahead by using OBV.

As long as obv is in yesterdays range of OBV ; market will maintain range.
If yesterday range hi broken then consider it as volume addition in the direction of break
If yesterday range Lo broken then consider it as volume addition in the direction of break

Range

Breakout for Trend
This for those who does not want to move a muscle to find something.

before few days VK was explaining the use of OBV to get ahead of the movement.
If OBV supports the move then only break down or break out happens.

i tried to explain in that post long ago.

SO YOU GUYS BELEIVE THAT YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL. SAY YAY. AND LET US ALL KICK SOME *SS. Why should the big boys have all the fun. Let us all pledge never to have a loss making month ever to begin with. Then we will come down to a week and then finally a day. It is simple then if you do not lose you can only gain.
I am in....

Why do i beleive that we can do much better than most of the mutual funds. If you just check up the performance of most of the MF (not all say 50%+) would not have beaten the Indices too. I mean a plain vanilla index based (Say BN or Nifty) should have delivered at least 25% to 50% increase in NAV in the past 7months alone. Check up how many have done that. ICICI's record till date is the most pathetic.

If the fund managers cannot even manage returns commensurate with the markets then how can you trust your money with them just to sustain their lavish lifestyles and fat paychecks. If you could make a list of MF's who have delivered more than 50% in the last 6 months then i would be obliged and probably take back my comments. In fact the good ones should have bettered the market returns by atleast 50% so look for a fund which has doubled in this period. My guess is that none would make the mark.

I went thru the Money control returns on all the Mutual funds and none of them gave a return of 50% even annualised. The reason i bring this up is even if you had followed just one simple rule of going Long in BN when it went above 200EMA in 5min. charts and bought a put when it went below 200EMA, you could have a whopping 50 times your investment in these 7 months. I rest my case.

Varunji,

I was just going thru your multitimeframe investment strategy via option route. You emphasized on buying slightly ITM options. Sir, why not we go for OTM options while trading weekly and monthly timeframes. Pardon my stupid question as I am new to options. ITM options would be better for daily and lower TFs
