Nifty 5600 - bought @ 19; sold at 20.3. Profit of 82. Had placed limit order at 21. Despite price hitting 21, my order wasn't executed

2/ Bought @ 22.7 and 21.95. TSL at 23 not executed Set TSL at 22. Sell order executed at 22.5 for 2 lots

3/ Finally sold remaining 2 lots at 23.65.

Loss of 60 overall.

Finished my 2nd book - Timing the market by Curtis Arnold.

Good parts:

A good read. Would recommend the portions that discuss and give ideas for developing trading systems. Some examples are very vivid and stay with you.


Not so good parts:

Found some chapters to be a little drab. Was happy to rush/skip through them.

Very poor trading yesterday and today. Saved by sheer luck and prayers. Was in deep losses - should've been back where i was a month ago. If i dont have the courage to book my losses, I shouldnt be trading. I can read a thousand articles and books but if i cant be disciplined, there's no point.

Really annoyed with myself.

5400 call - stopped out at 100 loss.

4900 put - stopped out at break even.

5400 call - stopped out at 100 loss.

5400 call - profit of 170.

Net loss after brokerage - 165.

Ledger at 11,148.

Feel somewhat satisfied after taking my losses instead of moving the SL.
