Guys could you tell me about some good brokers for commodities , currently i am charged Rs. 50 per transaction for stuff worth 5 lakhs and Rs 100 above 5 lakhs

factors are very simple... Demand and supply...
Watch the ncdx stock postion in the warehouses..
it shows 42000 tons tur and 11000 tons urad..
No one is having urad FAQ stock now in the market.. ncdx stock is the only stock.. u can count the open position of all urad contracts that comes to 2 lakh tons and the stock is only 12000 MT ..

Tur crop will b excellent and will b out in nov-dec.. plus the local stocks.. burmese Lemon cost to importers about 1525 per quiantal..
Therefor Ferget the TEZI in tur and watchout urad, chana and gavar... hope u r having profits..

All the data is available the ncdx website except charts..
as far as brokerage goes.. dosent have much idea.. .. u can enquire various firms abt charges and all..

Markets has opened as per expected...
Chana touched high of 1913.. tur also gained 30 Rs.. Urad touched high of 2280.. may touch 2300 today only..
Guar also improved...

The brokerage you had mentioned appears quite reasonable. Many brokers are also charging in % terms like (.04 or .05% both sides)

Rs. 50 brokerage for 5 lakhs... just let me know the %%% ur paying for brokerage. By calculations ur paying 0.01%... (1 paisa for 100 rs) which is xcellent .... please know ur broker.

I am paying rs. 50 for 1 lakh (0.05% brokerage) at 5paisa.com

Very mix and unclear trend is seen in todays trading..
i would rather stay away for a while.. URAD looking week at the moment.. but can bounce back any time.. chana and guar r range bound.. tur also crashed.. so overall sentiment is looking bearish at least 4 now..
