need RT data feed for ninjatrader

i am waitting from gfdl support for nt7. tick data is required for range bars to work in nt7.
importing of history will not work for range bars.presently settled for feeddropper realtime data works for range bars.

Iam using ninja trader 6.5 version. right now the data that you r using from feeddropper, does it supports to Nt 6.5,& does it comes in tick format,is there any delay in updating the data, please let me know.. thanks..

yes i tried but as ninja have some limitation ,as only one symbol in one window ,for different symbol have to open more window(i can not manage more than one symbol in single window in ninja)


.ninja is usefull for some ppl but most dont prefer it for some complexcity and limitation. how ever u can follow how to configure ninja for manshi in their site.
if u like only ninja then in trial set up chek ninja but u can also simultaniously use ami and ninja but u need to open many window.
ami is most suitable

manoi555 i also tried like you all software.gfdl not supporting nt7. finally i find one solution by remapping symbols of mcx i could succeded from thier servers only.remapping in data extraction not working.it working well with manishrt and also another data provider very less known feeddropper who providing all exchanges nse fno including option and mcx forex and comex for Rs 500/

Does feeddropper work with windows 7? And how does one map symbol in Dropper? Those guys have not given any help link, and software has no tab for mapping symbols. Will be grateful if you can drop a hint or two.

They told me that their ODIN2AMI Pro is compatible with NT7. However i could not get the data to appear in charts despite spending a couple of hours. They don't have any help file or writeup which can make it easy to setup the datafeed to Ninjatrader.

I think everyone has bunched up against those using NT.

first let me sorrey for all my late reply.feeddropper symbol naming is supported by ninjatrader 7 no remapping is required.no technical support from site.
but follow same as in manishrt to conect to ninjatrader.
feeddropper giving tickdata supports range bars in ninja7.but bacfilling will not help for range bars.windows 7 and windows8 supported.
i am not tested for ninja 6.5 because it not work in win7
gfdl data is supported by 6.5 not 7.
manshirt, shareguru both same and aamadmi will support remapping for backfill.
remapping of symbols will not support real time data.
feeddropper updating is good but few dropouts but not as good as firstcharting and gfdl. firstcharting i am using for mt4 it is excellent.

may support 6.5 you try with trail for 5days.data is tick format but backfill minute format works for time frames but not for range bars.
started my journey from metastock to amibroker and to mt4 and finally settled for ninjatrader.i am using bluewave trading indicators which are working excellently.good results.my reaserch on trading systems over now my search is for good data provider

it will not support problem with ninjatrader is " - " character in the symbol.
remapping solves only for backfill not real time.here problem with os and data provider.win7 win8 not support NT6.5 and gfdl not supporting NT7.here is dead lock. final solution going for esignal.
range and renko are native in NT7.Range bars removes noise and give tention free trading with bluewave indicators

Is there any way to get range bars like NT7 or MT4 in Amibroker?
Amibroker range bars are different than NT7 and MT4.

so far i didnot find any good quality range bars for amibroker.
ninjatrader range bars of like bluewave trading are good.
i am also lived 2 years with mt4 and amibroker.
but now i realized after installing ninjatrader just one week
i found what i am missing in mt4 and ami.
why to shy to shift ninjatrader afterall it is free software full working
except live trading.
