Ganesh,

Get the phone no. of the dealer/s at your branch and place your order only thru the dealer not the RM. All orders placed thru dealers are recorded.
As simple as that
Hello,

Rightly said vince...And dont ask your RM to call back for orders..get the terminal number from ur RM of ur branch and place order through that only..

One more thing, dear haid, I've made all payments thru cheque and online transfers....the money has gone into the indiabulls account accordingly.... but according to me the balance that is reflected in indiabulls account is less than what i expect......
This may be due to adjsutment made if you have bought on stock margin or had ur cash margin gone in -ve due to shares bought more than allowed in cash or also due to interest charged to you if you have taken any funding...

Dear haid, just a query, is it possible to withdraw money from my account without my notice ???even if they withdraw, I hope that goes directly to my account...and what are the modes of withdrawal..

ganeshhity
If your a/c is with HDFC bank, then you can withdraw money without any notice to RM.for other banks, you have to inform ur RM for the cheque before 1pm and the cheque will be delivered within 24 hrs..The mode of withdrawal is online with HDFC or through cheque which will be courier to ur correspondence address with 24 hrs..

MAKE SURE TO GIVE REQUEST FOR WITHDRAWAL BEFORE 1PM..

Is Dealer & RM different?

After I opened my account , I recived a welcome letter from Indiabulls asking me to contcat my RM for all backup requirements.I was of the perception that the conversation of RM and ours is recorded for security purpose.( when we give orders)

But what I have learnt from many posts above things look totally different. The conversation with Rm is nort recorded andinfact the dealer conversation is recorded.

Whats this dealer and can we place orders to him directly without involving RM in between? Will the dealer take order directly?

Hello,

The RM will help you to solve any problem you might come with but he is not allowed to take orders for his clients..he will guide you if you have problem with fund transfer, delivery of contract notes, and any other problem you might come through...

Every branch of indiabulls will have terminal numbers with dealers to whom u need to call them and place your order.and he will take your order directly and this conversation is recorded.

Hello Ashish,

Your understanding of the name is right.but my actual full name is MOHAMMED BIN ABDUL REHMAN BIN HAID which means that I MOHAMMED is the son of ABDUL REHMAN who belong to a community called BIN HAID.Basically we are originally from middle east and we have different communities among ARABS which we called as 'QHABILA' and our QHABILA is BIN HAID.u can say its same as SURNAME.

Thats what was in my mind while posing this question. It just crossed if people were addressing him by his father's name then it might be offending to him.

However, as Mohd. explained, it's his Quabilah's name and might be used as a surname. Muslims have adopted this culture for long and even in India it was in practise not long back. Surnames like Alahabadi, Farrukhabadi, Lakhnawi have been popular in the Urdu Belt and the name bearers insisted being called up by their surname.

So Murthy, u can still call him Mr. haid.

Best Regards,

some intresting topic, that I have seen people from Karnatak and Tamil Nadu (in Hindus) adding their place of birth to their name and also some add their father's name.

This practice is not present in Andhra and some other states I beleive. In Andhra its mostly SurName which goes and now putting the family's gotram name to the son is quite popular. you see kids with names as bharadwaj, kashyap etc etc.

for example: I have seen a person name as Vellore Padmanbhan or Banglore Sridharan etc etc.
