I sincerely thank you for the efforts and time you have taken in answering my query.It answered all of my doubts.
You are a wonderful teacher and its really great to have you amongst us.

7/02/06 it took out the previous weeks high that is the week ended on the 3/02/06 which was 204.9 as you have mentioned.My doubt is where to keep a buy order ?
Is it the intraday when it takes out 204.9 as you mentioned at 207,which was on the 7/02/06 0r one should wait for the E.O.D close at or above 207.
(on 7/02/06 open was 217,high was 217,close was at 209 and the low was at 204.)

Thanks Saint. Entered the stock. I am on +ve side now. KS Oils has upper circuit for the past three days. If you remember, in your earlier posting, you had defferred discussing this stock. Any updates/comments on this..?

Any idea about ITL,Bannari Amman Spinning mills & Ferro Alloys?

ITL seems that it has bagged export order recently when it participanted in German Show.

Bannari Amman Spinning mills has commissoned 9 of the 16 wind mills in 2006 and is aggressively expanding the spindles.

Planning to enter Shasun also.

Ferro hit 20% circuit and sttled 15% up on closing yesterday. Any inputs on this...?

I am holding RPG transmission for quite a long time and i am on -ve side. Need your inputs.

As I am at the computer the whole day,I'd track the mini gap up on Feb 7th,and once it pulls back,I'd try to get in at a price as close to 207 as possible.

And about the 2nd question,let us say that you plan to enter Stock A at 344.CMP is 335.Intradays we take out 344 and put in a high of 349 and close at 339,the question is would you get in or would you wait for a close above 344.
Okay,different people have differing views on this.I can only share what I do............Regardless of the close,I'd enter the moment the stk clears 344.I also hope that this closes over 344,but if it doesn't,well,it's one of those things.But yes,I'd get in on the intradays,........sometimes I get caught in an ugly false breakout,but most times it's very profitable.In a bid to be correct,we tend to sacrifice huge gains.In a bid to be right,we wait for the move,and once the move occurs,we say that it's too far off and you need a pullback to enter,etc,etc.

Of course,there's no real absolute right and wrong.Just sharing what I do and what I'd do.

GUJ FLOURO :Nice patterns,nice increase in volume when it broke up.Nice decrease in volumes on pullback.Now volumes picking up again........sometimes we tend to get in before the huge crowd comes in.For my eyes,looking good to go to new highs.

Hello Saint,

I went through the charts of cholamandal Investment ,i understood it clearly,till now i was focussing on the pivot high as you have mentioned.

I had accidentally landed here at traderji through a google search...till then had no clue what T.A was...its been a great learning curve from then.
Thanks once again to you ,Amit and this traderji forum for giving me a start.

lol about the eyes bit....... But about the entry point,had called in an entry in the 390 region.Had said that a close over 410 is confirmation of the move up.

Dear Saint ..

re TATA Power , ,Please advice . I have average buying price of 462 , 130 shares only . Yesterday it looked weak and i sold off 50 shares . Now left with 80 shares . today as of now , cmp is 492 , with a high of 504.90 and a low of 490 with a volumes of above 2 lakh . .

I am confused as to continue to hold and watch or sell and put money somewhere else ( Guj Flouro , maybe ) . .
Please advice .
