Is my approach wrong?

First of all one have to define him/her self ..am i a Day/short-term or positional Trader as for trading goes, Based on this the Levels and Targets vary..
A day trader need not to bother about Longer or Swing Positional Level
the only aim to make 20/30 Points when ever gets an opportunity
F&O trading is accepted(No carry forward position at any cost)
Rest of the category Enter with Minimum and Longer time frame the SL too are as high as 5 to 10% accumulation is Key word for them (F&O not recommended)
Unless one is not clear what category he/she belongs to out of above three surely it will confuse ..
Can any trader say just i was watching the screen through the day and not traded?.. very difficult to control emotions.. practice .. i am very sure it is hard work ... Good Luck

Testing Time for short term and day traders this kind of market is very much possible fallowed by big gap up or down
this too will rattle and confuse traders
This kind of market environment not conduce for traders ... chances of losing are higher than making profit.. wait and wait till you get correct trading opportunity..

another no trade day seems....for short side 5278/5280...to break and will find support at 5265.. and on long side if hold 5308 then 5230 is possible...happy trading all ...all levels spot ...

icici bank reliance hdfcbank itc tatamotors all are almost flat to negative even if PM just dream about market the biggies will pull the nifty up with these stocks as already some amount of ground work has been done for our sudoku tgt 5450/5444 in a day :thumb:
