Anantraj Industries-Is The ADAG Group In Cahoot With Delhi Based Realtors?
If so, the 2G Scam that has gripped the citizens of Dis country, superior courts & the media turn into a full-blown scandal that involves Delhi based realtors who confessedly participated in laundering money let out by the ADAG group? Such serious charges would also involve the previous head of Reliance MF, who instigated & inspired, realtors like Anantraj & DBRealty 2 allow money 2 pass through for facilitating the 2G licenses. It might also become pertinent for the enforcement, revenue & sebi investigative wings 2 evaluate the sense in allowing corporate houses 2 set-up asset management companies which r then used 2 speculate upon insider information 2 which the Mutual Fund is privy. A chinese wall concept may also be in an unworkable proposition, if corporations in the private sector r allowed 2 set-up new banks.
A Delhi-based realtor, Amit Sarin, has told the CBI that his company, Anantraj Builders, was used 2 rout Rs 100 crore of Reliance ADAG 2 Swan Telecom 2 make the latter eligible 2 apply for 2G spectrum licence. :annoyed::annoyed:

........contd
In his statement, recorded under Section 161 of the CrPC, Sarin said the transactions were done at the request of an employee of Reliance Mutual Fund. The statement is part of the CBIs chargesheet filed in the court of special judge OP Saini on April 2. Such a statement is not admissible as evidence in court, unless its maker affirms it on oath in court during trial.
Anantraj Builders has several subsidiaries Anantraj Industries, Oriental Builtech and Anantraj Agencies and the money was routed through them. The R100 crore received from Sonata Investments (an ADAG company) in the accounts of Oriental Builtech on March 2, 2007 was transferred to the accounts of Anantraj Agencies, Sarin told the CBI.
Further, this sum was transferred 2 Giraffe Consultancy. Giraffe was an ADAG-promoted firm & owned a majority stake in Swan Telecom through Tiger Trustees, a subsidiary. Sarin admitted that debit and credit vouchers were prepared for the transaction but denied the amount was an advance frm Sonata against a property, as reflected in the vouchers. No such property deal either with Sonata or Giraffe took place. Further, no agreement in this regard was made, he told the CBI.
He added that an amount of R100 crore was transferred back 2 Sonata Investment via the same route. Sarins statement corroborates the agencys charge that ADAG allegedly used the builders companies to route money to Shahid Balwa-promoted Swan.
Reliance ADAG and Anantraj Builders r 50% partners in a joint venture called Roseland Buildtech, which has bought 2 plots in Delhi for the hospitality business. Anantraj Builders has also availed a loan of R500 crore from ADAG in 2 installments of R250 crore each since 2006.:annoyed:
