Eagle has a great way with words, but that post should be framed.

WHEN I AM READING ALL THESE STUFF... I DO RECOLLECT A POST ABOUT SG SOMETIMES BACK BY A PERSON WHOM I DON'T HATE... BUT HE MIGHT THINK THE OTHER WAY... WHO CALLED ME "A CRACKPOT" JUST WHEN I SAID THAT WHEN I DONT KNOW HINDI, AND ASKED HIM TO WRITE THEM IN MY KNOWN LANGUAGE... HE THEN CALLED ME "mr. Indlish-speaking guy".... (IN LINKON'S THREAD)
WHATEVER... IT IS ALL THE SMALL MISUNDERSTANDING.... BUT I DO LIKE HIS WRITING....THATS IT...

Nifty close on Friday, 26.08.2011 : 4748

As analysed in earlier posts #2524 below 200 Wkly MA of 4836, Nifty tested 4720 on

the dot. another supports exists at 4680-4600. I think, dis will be the short term

bottom and Nifty will give 8-10% upmove from 4600-4720 giving a target of

5000-5200 but it will not happen in a day or two, it will take some time,

consolidating at these levels. Again, 200 Wkly MA @ 4831 will be strong deterrent

for the rise. I suggest buying September Call of 5000-5200 on every dip.

Nifty Strong above 4867
Weak below 4720 Target 4600

If long SL 4720
If short SL 4800

Brightstar, I've been calling for a move to 4657 since the peak at 5704. The call you just made back to 5000--5200, I made on the last dip at 4796. I thought it would be from that point to 5220, and them to my target at 4657. I'll just have to say you hit it, and I'll settle for being a week late.
Nice call!

I was sneezing since yesterday, wondering who's remembering me. Then Casper called me an hour or so ago from his hometown near a beautiful seashore, and told me it was Mkbsiva! :D

Let the past be gone, buddy. Think of that little scuffle no more! And, BTW, you are mistaken. I don't hate you. Matter of fact, I don't hate anybody or anything.

There is a song, you know, written by Gulzar: ik pal tham ke rona / hoga ik pal chalnaa hans ke! / jeeven se lambe hain, bandhu, ye jeevan ke raste... (A moment spent in stopping midway to shed a tear / Shall be better served in walking a step further with a smile / (because) life's journey is longer than life itself, brother)

These lines I always try to remember. Therefore, can't afford this luxury, you know - 'to hate'. Hating is wasting time.

Yes, I am brusque, sometimes extremely rude. No apologies for that. Till a couple of years ago, I used to wonder: why do I sometimes get so impatient toward people in general, and never toward any animal or bird?
I wonder no more. Now I know, I am built this way by the Almighty. And His Will is being done, so to speak. I don't care much what people say or think of me. Whom eventually I am answerable to, I have a fairly good idea. ;)

And, Siva, thanks very much for that link to my post.

God, I forgot writing it! Did I really write something like that?! Wow...

SG, once said on the fone (in his off-guard moment, I presume!) that he always copied and saved such posts of mine. Hope he will have made a long PDF for me by now. I would love to gloat over reading them! :D

And, please guys, don't worry about one-and-only SG. Let nifty weekly chart show 2 white candles, and our bull (rat) will be out of his hiding place in no time!

THOSE HIGHLIGHTED LINES MAKE MY MEMORIES GO BACK 10 YRS... Its a movie named Aalavandhan which is a Tamil Thriller film released in 2001. The movie stars Kamal Haasan in a dual role... with Raveena Tandon and Manisha Koirala as his love partners.

There is a song from that movie sung by kamal itself for his anti-hero role...
here is the song and the translated version...

Kadavul pathi, mirugam pathi,
Kalanthu seiytha kalavai naan.
Veliye mirugam, ulle kadavul
Vilanga mudiya kavithai naan.
Mirugam kontru, mirugam kontru
Kadavul valarka parkinten
Aanal, kadavul kondru, unavai thintu
mirugam mattum valarkirathe

Half-god, half-man,
A mixture of the two made me.
A beast outside, a God inside,
I am incomprehensible poetry.
Killing the beast, I try to raise god
But, killing and usurping god,
The animal alone grows in me.

Nandakumara, Nandakumara,
Naalai mirugam kolvaya,
Mirugam kondra echam kondu
Meendum kadavul seivaya
Kurangil iruthu manithan ental
Manithan niryai velvana
Miruga gyathiyil pirantha manitha
Deva jyothiyil kalappaya

Nandakumara, Nandakumara,
Will you kill the beast tomorrow?
Will you raise god from the beast's remains?
If man evolved from monkey,
Will he completely overcome it?
You who are born in the animal species,
Will you become one with the eternal flame?

Repeating
Kadavul pathi, mirugam pathi,
Kalanthu seiytha kalavai naan.
Veliye mirugam, ulle kadavul
Vilanga mudiya kavithai naan.
Mirugam kontru, mirugam kontru
Kadavul valarka parkinten
Aanal, kadavul kondru, unavai thintu
mirugam mattum valakirathe.

Half-god, half-man,
A mixture of the two made me.
A beast outside, a God inside,
I am incomprehensible poetry.
Killing the beast, I try to raise god
But, killing and usurping god,
The animal alone grows in me.

Slurring
Kadavul pathi, mirugam pathi,
Kalanthu seiytha kalavai naan.
Kaatril yeeri, mazhayil aadi,
Kavithai padum paravai naan.

Half-god, half-man,
A mixture of the two made me.
Riding the wind, dancing in the rain
I am the bird that sings poems.

Faster
Kadavul pathi, mirugam pathi,
Kalanthu seiytha kalavai naan.
Kaatril yeeri, mazhayil aadi,
Kavithai padum paravai naan
Kaatril yeeri, mazhayil aadi,
Kavithai padum paravai naan
Ovvoru thuliyum, ovvoru thuliyum
Uyiril verkal kulirkirathe
Ella thuliyum kulirumpothu
Iruthuli mattum Sudukirathe.

Half-god, half-man,
A mixture of the two made me.
Riding the wind, dancing in the rain
I am the bird that sings poems.
In every drop of rain, my soul grows colder
Even when all drops are cold, only two remain hot.

Nandakumara, Nandakumara,
Mazhai neer sudathu theriyatha,
Kannam vazhikire kanner thulithan
Vennir thuli ena arivaya
Sutta mazhayum, sudatha mazhayum,
ontai kandavan neethane
Kanner mazhayil kanner mayayil
Kulikavaithavan neethane

Nandakumara, Nandakumara,
Don't you know that rainwater is never hot?
Do you know that the tears that
flow down your cheek that are hot?
You are one who got wet in the hot and cold rain
You are one who got wet in tears.

I was just going through your posts discussing SG's now-notorious bullishness. I enjoyed reading them. They were all of different flavour but very intelligent all the same. Good to see Amartya Sen's 'Argumentative Indian' being verified :)

I, personally, am not at all interested in the question, whether he is/was wrong or right in asessing the market. Or will be in the future. I am interested in this question: Does it matter - now? To me, personally?

The answer is emphatic NO! Because now I can see the market's moves with my own two eyes. I don't need to see it through SG's or any other wiseguy's eyes!

And that, my friends, matters - to me, now!

Tomorrow is Monday. A new trading day. A day that'd require me to look ahead or back no more than a few candles on the chart.

If at the end of the day, My ledger smiles a happy smile. So shall I.

Good night all

Thanks, Siva, for that beautiful song...
"In every drop of rain, my soul grows colder
Even when all drops are cold, only two remain hot"

Wow...

I can understand the pain when you say that the translation wouldn't capture half the essence. That Gulzar song gave me the same pain.
It is our misfortune that we didn't have that wise founders of our nation who forgot how rich our culture is. If I were one of them, I would have made sure that every school must teach at least 4 of nation's regional languages to its students apart from his/her mother tongue - the way Dutch people do. Of course, English would have been optional as a 6th! :D

But not to worry, Casper is my best South Indian friend, he knows Tamil, Telagu, Kannada. One of these days I will make him teach me one of them (because I'm already teaching him Hindi! :))

BTW, I was once talking to Casper and said, I rank Kamal Haasan among the greats like Robert de Nero and Al Pachino. Amitabh etc. come far far down the line. And Salmans, Aamirs, Shah Rukhs, Kapoors and all other bollywood nitwits...they don't deserve even 5 minutes of my time.

Thanks again for the effort. Well done, bro.
