That's strange. My MT4 chart didn't even move.
many international sites & data feeder dont get or just dont update these types of sessions for NSE/BSE. but some correct data afterwards, as a backfill.

Reachjesal, I was thinking maybe XTD Trading was still shut down, even though the Indian markets weer up and running, and so the respective Indian brokers had their platforms running. Just a guess on my part.

OTOH, the markets never do quit moving. They are moving as we speak, but we just can't trade therm right now.
That's why we get the spikes at the beginning of the week.

Paul,

it was only for 1 hour or so. that is the reason probably. thanks

Neither have I, because I never traded the market in my life--lol.

But still. MT4? Oooooh yeeeah. I'm keeping my MT4. I still love it.
MT4 is good, no doubt. I have a GCI demo, and seen it working. A curiousity, though. Why the price on it neither matches that of the Index nor NF futures on my NOW terminal? Anyone?

Hi E1..... Actually, GCI MT4 (and almost all the MT4 Brokers) work as a market maker for Nifty (and all the other symbols present with them)..... ie; when you hit the Buy Button... GCI Sells it to you..... and vice-versa......

They do not show the price quoted on NSE........ But if one follows it, its reliable enough because Arbitragers do the balancing act..... Hopefully, I was able to explain it properly :)
