Thanks a lot, Eagle. Now I know why we're not getting much. You're hogging it all up.
Push some my way. Me and Tucker will be happy.

Seriously, I hope you and your neighbors get their electricity turned on quickly. I know that's a bummer.
It's pain, really. poles and wire are down and buried in the higher reaches. They had switched off the entire grid as precautionary measure. Don't know when it will come....

But it's fun...OTOH!!!

If the broker takes you to court, it is the court's decision.

In this kind of situation Brokerage firm square off your position automatically...if its 20% upper circuit your both Nifty lots will be automatically square off & if it 10% circuit then one lot will be square off :annoyed:

Brokers Never loose :(

Hi all , this question might see weird but plz consider this case. Suppose i have 50K in my Trading account and i short 2Nifty futures. NExt day 20% upper circuit is hit and i m not able to square off my position(nor the brokerage itself cud). HEre effectively my loss wud be more than 50K. Now next day another 10% circuit is hit. NOW what? My loss another 25K. Now how will this be settled. Suppose 50K was the only amt i had, then will i have to do away with my family assets?

This question might look confusing but just consider 18th May2009 , suppose i wud have been short on 17th then what cud have happened then.

Thanks.

SGXN: Talked to friend who knows all about SGX, she says high volumes may be due to a computer glitch, has happened before, remove 14...
