#1. What happened to sudoku today? Waiting for RIL results to determine market direction?

#2. Looks like RIL results finally pull the market down. Without understanding the details myself, CNBC seems to believe results (4440 cr net profit with lot of "other" income) are ugly.

OTOH, this buildup about "bad" Reliance numbers may be a prelude to "Reliance Q3 Beats The Estimates !!!!"

RIL results can be anything, ultimately it is the market perception that matters.
The buyback is the bigger issue.

Buyback from open market at "upto 10% of today's closing price" i.e. upto Rs. 870, of "upto" 3.6% of equity (or 12 crore shares), of "upto" 10000 crores (or something)..

Read about reliance Q3 results on moneycontrol.

PS: Just providing the link, read it and explain it to me and others.. too little English, too much gibberish.

No use of reading it, TP. :p
What was the Infy result and what happened? :D
It's all about perception, the only certainty here is a volatility spike. :p :D

Very true, Taurus. Market perception is everything. And the perceptions, according to Van Tharp, are what we trade in the market. :)
I mean, imagine. Reliance decides to pay 850+ upward per share in the open market, what message would it send out to the punters? This: 'You f-ing a$$**s! We are worth more than you trade us for! Now take extra 50 bucks, put those shares here, and F- yourselves!'
Consequence?
Bears get buried under 30 meter snow!
