You should have watched the Photographs much Closer ..., At least the summer One you could have seen what was written on the display ... I have enlarged both the Photographs ...Hope the display on Board is Clear Now ...

In Summer the Board says "ADVERTISE HERE" .....& you notice 3 Cars
In Spring the Board say "GUEST HOUSE AVAILABLE" ....and cars have disappeared....

Now this is what I think might have happened from Summer to Spring and the reason for NOT seeing the Cars in Spring and the Change in the Board Display ...

Since you can Notice ALL the Cars in the Photo are of the Same colour I presume they belonged to a Travel Agency & the Owner had just Ventured in Stock Market in Summer ....and as usual Call it Beginners luck made some Money...He must Have told Himself ...WOW...This is so easy to make money in the Stock Market ...:clap:and Guess what he pumped in All his savings into the stock market ....Now No prizes for guessing what must have happened next...Yes the Markets Crashed and he kept on averaging ......Gradually he couldn't pay his Monthly Repayments which he owed to the Bank ...his Cars were seized ..And a person who was drinking Occasionally started everyday ...NOW he wanted a Revenge on the Market ...:gun2:...And Obviously Needs Capital to Trade... So he comes up with a Plan ....,

So in Spring he places a Board on "ADVERTISE HERE" with "GUEST HOUSE AVAILABLE" .. He turns his House into a Guest House to earn some money so he could trade...

Let us Hope he would learn the tricks of the market and become successful trader [ Ofcourse not Revenge trading ...] ..., Let him reach a stage were he can execute a trade then pick up a milk shake and sip it slowly while watching How the prices react when it reaches certain levels and ofcourse one eye on the charts in various Time-frames ....:clapping:

Kiran Hope I have been able to give you a convincing answer as to why the Cars disappeared in Spring and the change in display Board as well..

Another clause to note is that they are not bound to buy for all the 10000Cr.

In 2004, they bought only for 5% of the said value.

Exactly ... they have 1 year to do it. The price has already moved up. And they need to do only 25% of what they announced. It will have a very small change on the number of outstanding shares. I think (without checking) the max buyback is in the range of 1-2% of total shares ... the price moves up much much more than 2% in a year, this is a non-event. From a sentiment perspective ... maybe, and that's what mentioned should have already happened (or discounted).
[EDIT] Ok, I just saw some note that if they do full buy back, it is an effect of 3.5%. If they do only quarter (as required), the impact is 0.9% (edit again for correction).
