There's the other commodity exchange - NCDEX or something - any ideas about it ?

MSA bhai. I did commodities for a month. Others might differ but for me it was very frustrating with MCX. It is a stone-age exchange compared to other international ones. Same is true for forex in India. If you are living outside India, get an account opened where you can be in and out 24 hours. Otherwise, just stick with NSE. And watch your daughter grow instead of watching silver falling through the floor! :lol:

NCDEX also has the same timings. MCX and NCDEX are for commodities , what BSE and NSE are for Equities. (My understanding). Same like MININIFTY and NIFTY they have MINICOPPER and COPPER. MINI is of 250 MT, @400 / kg , the lot comes to around 100k, So margin requirement should be around 10 to 15 k.
