I have my doubts too.

Just an observation. The last time that the rupee was at 53-54Rs. was in the second week of December. That's when Nifty touched its lowest (45xx), and the dollar index was in 77-78 range. Now when the rupee is around 53.5 mark, Nifty is 5100-5200, and the dollar index is above 79. Wonder what conclusions can we draw from this. Are the FIIs accumulating or getting out ?? :confused:
Second week of December was before they started accumulating. I am sure they were pulling it down that time so as to accumulate. Same is going on now, although the trigger for buying back may not come. It depends on whether Pranav da gives in on the GAAR issue (or delays it) or not. Eventually, the valuations are improving every day, so eventually they will come back, but they might come back only after causing a panic bottom in the 4xxx range.

When money starts flowing in, rupee will improve and so will markets (non-IT).

Conclusion::
People get used to Rupee valuation @ 52-54 :rofl::rofl:

The rupee opened lower against the dollar at 53.6550/6650 vs 53.41/42 Thursday close and market is also under pressure because of weak global cues. I don't think rupee can bounce back today..

Yup.. maybe not today. I think the futures will touch 54.5 before it retraces.

Nifty Spot Weekly DMI negative crossed over DMI positive -- I suspect big danger starts from here for nifty down trend! (Nifty Spot Monthly DMI Negative is already over DMI Positive since May-2011). Lets see what GAAR issue brings on Monday for Nifty.
