better to exit short by booking profit at 3:29:55 pm today. re-enter short next week around 5000 to 5150 level if there is no great news to turn the market trend.

where did you found this? neither significant volume nor change in open interest in 4700PE

where did you found this? neither significant volume nor change in open interest in 4700PE

LHS is the daily chart and the right one is today's intraday with volumes.

It was one of the scrips on my radar today and there was significant buying interest throughout, both for 4700PE and 5100CE.

Edit : 4700PE closed near its bottom.

Same thing happened to me... had 4900 PE from yesterday at 74... 2 lots... sold early in the morning @ 94 (bad decision in the hindsight )...
had sold 5000 CE @ 96 from yesterday... so took MNF long @ 4970 yesterday to hedge (eccentricity at its best)...
made 50 p profit in HUL 440 CE...
then made a huge mistake of selling 5000 CE @ 72... 10 lots... Low made around 61... Still kept them(pathetic decision)... ultimately sold them at cost...
then took 10 lots 4900 PE @ 80... s/l hit at 71... From 8K+ in the morning to -2k...
took 5 lots 5000 PE @ 111... ultimately squared off all at 137...

net net 4k in the pocket... ufff.... what a day!!!

The way it appears to me (don't ask why..), the market is thinking that Nifty may not go to 4700 in this series, whereas there is a decent chance of touching 5100.
