manohar ji...... today i m quite confused since put call open position shows expiry shifts from 4850-4900 to around 4950 and on other hand, it looks that market has loses all its momentum today ...max it will go upto 4980 spot and then it should fall below 4900.......

keep moving your Sl to Long positions and to short watch 5 minutes chart 3 candles continually fail to move above at a particular point and price trades below 13 ema for more than 15 minutes go short with sl of 10/15 points its my intra day strategy

Market is making steady move towards 5000 mark its going to be sluggish and laborious move 4985 is Res. will consider shorting only below 4937 intra day.

Totally agree with you. Looks like a sluggish bullish market which continues to move up whole day. If its is one then even 5000 will be broken easily. We haven't had such market in long time so this makes it more probable.

One main characteristic i look at for identifying such market is not more than 10-12 points of retracing will take place from the high and the market will continue to make new highs.

But being expiry week and options data so clearly showing an upmove to 5000+ is making me skeptical. So holding my short but have changed the 2 lots sell kept at 4967 to just 1 lot.

Clearly struggling at around 4860/4970 closed my longs slips below 4950 and sustains we are in for 50 points down move.

Ok we had a 12+ points retracing from the highs.. So this is not the slow sluggish market which continues to move up whole day( most easily recognizable and profitable setup)

Now can we please have a Papa bear spike which takes out the day low

No target as of now. Depends on future price action and also volumes on 1 min charts which i regularly gauge for chances of reversal.

I will be happy to get 1.5R or more
