Kavima, excellent thought!

Your pitchforks are over my head. You are clearly the master of them, which is why I come to your thread just to learn.
JahDave and I have often marveled that both of us have distinct methodologies, yet the yield the same basic result as we peer into the future. And, of course, I've noticed the same thing in coming to your thread.

Excellent information!

@livetottrade

That's what 4xpip always keeps pointing out.Ichimoku is still above my head
which i hope to learn someday.But I have also noticed most systems / methods point to the same direction in forecasting levels. But the success of the trader is to master his tools and use the levels effectively to enter and exit a trade.So many times, even well thought out trade plans go awry when we see the screen move out of our levels temporarily resulting in backing out of the trade, to find that it does go in our original direction .:annoyed:.

This is so nice : Different systems, yet similar results.

Above 4800, the Ichimoku shows us a Tenkan at 489x area, the Moving Average around the 489x area, and Kavima's Pitchforks too indicate similar "R" areas.
We have one more system developed by SH i.e. "315 strategy" where 15 EMA is @ 4880 & at present it is in down trend. So if touched we can add to our existing shorts (if any).

Amazing :gunsmilie:

A massive fall in the shortest time!!
I was reading many blogs and opinion was divided about a major move on either direction and looks like the bears have won.
The mood was indeed tense to be in the right direction and so was I.Nifty favoured my bias and fell heavily.Unfortunately could not follow intraday and missed seeing the live action but happy with my short positions.Will hold it to till the momentum eases out near the Median line and will take a call on the next trade.
