No there is no definite rule for stop loss.

I usually try to go with hod - 10 for my stop loss, only if I plan to exit otherwise, I will continue till the very end and exit at 3.25 pm and then trail sl, as the new highs are made, and will keep the sl level at odd levels. Levels like 5, 10, 15 are usually taken out very fast,

P.S. If you dont know your exit are right, please do not use this method. Sometimes, exiting too early will be very bad, and can eat up your profit very badly.
