Most of our senior freinds and participants (active and silent) of this thread believes in responsive (to price, volume and few patterns) trading. In my humble opinion, they don't do any sort of speculative trading here. They do follow strictly some rules based on pivot highs and lows based entry (for long and short respectively). Please go through the thread from the beginning as well as few other threads like "teach a man how to fish" by saint (our beloved and most respected mentor).
This will help you to understand how these friends are trading. Be with them online during trading hours to understand better of the rules. You may not have to post, but definitely can follow what they do.
Do some back testing and paper trading before putting your money.
