This is a good Thread - no nonsense.
One Suggestion: When mentioning 'today' or 'yesterday' it may be more precise to say 'today the 8th.' or 'yesterday the 7th.' etc.

but just keep in mind that, if market keeps moving up, support and resistances both will also move up and if market closes somewhere around near support, than next days support will be lower than today's.

Dear All:
As I right to conclude that this "NIFTY Futures Mechanical Trading" is:
(a) Not for intraday ( daytrading).
(b) Planned MTM loss for one lot should be in the region of 20,000/25,000.
(c) Exit, at will, with MTM profit is possible.
(d) Order for Stop Loss at 2 X Lots Held can be given before trading and only once daily check out and order is needed.
(e) This is not full time and usual other business can be done.

I am holding Nifty Short at 4495 and have bought Nifty 4600 call @120.

It seems Nifty will open high on Monday as Dow closed high and crude cooling down.

Could you suggest what will be the optimum level to exit from my position so as to end in profit.

Both Postions can not be in Profit at the same time . For Future Exit as per levels given in thread . your 4600C should be in profit if markets Gaps Up .

Probable targets for your 4600call in next couple of days.

Nifty@ 4600 = 153 , @4650 = 180 , @4700 = 212 , @4750 =245 .
Values may differs with Change in IV .

Current position : SHORT (at 4500 on 08/08/2008)

Nifty Fut Closed at : 4547.45

Profit/Loss in current trade : -47.45 (as per last closing price)
Net Profit/Loss since thread started : +2134.55 (2182.00-47.45)

Support : 4514
Resistance : 4589

Hold SHORT position with SL 4589. If trades above 4589, exit SHORT & go LONG with SL 4514.

Well. I didnt tell the TARGETS . They are probable prices if Nifty goes to 4600 + . Did I said nifty will gapup above 4600 + ???? You have to watch out tomorrows opening then only you can decide on your PUTS. ( If Nifty gaps up too much and your put crashes , i prefer to hold it )

If market opens with gape up above 4589, wait till market stabilize. i.e. wait for initial 5 minutes and than we change our position.
