I think he has backtested to find positive expectancy in taking Intraday trades.

Short 5975; it is open price and 5945 is 30 points away. So he is basically looking for 30 points profit.

Not bad if we can get an average even 5 points everyday with something so simple. :)

He is actually doing both Positional as well as Intra day ! He seems to anticipate and do rules based intraday trades. He trades extra qty for Intraday only and if the trend continues, he exits partially and continues with positional, in which his entry becomes lower. He told me that this makes him more comfortable in holding the position. I tried to interact with him again on Saturday but he seemed too reserved and did not open up ! :D

Breakout out failure, as a pattern, has a very high probability of price reaching the Pivot Low, the next level of support, which in this case could also be ema15. Will have to price action.


PS: Great song... Mika Singh's ... Tu mere agal bagal hai...
