Definitely... Short Below 5811... use small filter watch price action. SL of no more than 10 points. Target LOD.
i thought you didnt do intraday ?

but if you have to do it , then you cannot play on selected days, you will have to take trades often then based on your analysis , market is not obliged to give you winning trades all the time , if you do selected trades , or miss out on your choice , the chances of winning will come down , time frame is lower in intra day , and failures of setups are higher, odds will be more of a failure , on a same type of setup over a series of trades odds will be in your favor

just a thought

If the day turns out okay, I will hold them as positional Adds. Have maintained the quantity to small as they are adds.

This is the tougher approach. If results are not good then will resort to Adds on Daily charts which will have wide-stops.

A very tricky situation. Tomorrow is a holiday. And God only knows what will happen in the meantime. When market opens... Boom a gap.

I guess, I will have to keep myself open to possibilities. After all, such uncertainties will cancel each other out over a series of trades.

As per rkk's advise : "Gautam, With good profit in hand you can Short at 5856+ SL5870+ !Dont risk your profits by selling at lower levels as mkt seems to be going nowhere!"
He said because 5870 is the level where he would be converting his Positional Short to Long with a rider that mkt must close above 5862.

Intraday Shorts did not work out.... momentum didn't happen.

More importantly, today's Daily bar has almost completely reversed yesterday's Breakout bar. This cannot be good.

If there is no last minute change in fortunes, I will book profits on all short positions.

Today has been a constructive day. Thanks to my eldest son being at his best behaviour, I was able to spent the entire day reading an ancient recommendation, for which I didn't have the good sense until today. And... I was able to analyze Sintex Industries Ltd for investment. The stock has majorly crashed, why? Is it still sound?

Anyhow, coming back to Nifty Futures, bread and butter... if tomorrow does not do anything drastic like a 150 point gap, then I will re-enter my shorts, except the small add.

SAR (Long) level is 5848.30 Spot;
