just google on "forum smileys" and you'll find many websites having these pics in "gif" formats...

and while composing any message, use "GO ADVANCED" tab...

in the next page, u'll see all tools which are normally available in MS WORD, etc...
there's one Icon below "Undo" icon - "Insert image"....

click on it, and u'll be asked to enter the URL (web page link) of your image...

so, if u liked this smiley:
http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/angel/oncloud.gif

just put this link in that pop up ("enter URL')...

and your image will appear like this
