Alex im posting the nifty weekly..Just check the lower triangle breakout in which the red line has to comedown to make a triangle. The blue line however cannot cannot move up as the trend line would be broken. What do u think??Is it a reasonable explaination???

ok alex..i even use aptistock and amibroker but to infuse data into these is a very difficult task for me...

yes data input is a real pain for me too, i manually do this for nifty in a csv file then converting to excel and finally to metastock format from its covertor.
Could not search/figure out automatic/efficient way till today, but as long as its only nifty i can compromise but for more stocks ( in future ) certainly its not the way im doing.

[ sorry if this my post is offtopic, mod have right to delete it]

Hi kamlesh as now u have started MS, u know most interest me in MS, are its Expert Advisory. Two of these are worth looking as they seems to give resonable positional guidence on Nifty

1) Hybrid Trade Screen

Guide:
Whether using a technical or fundamental methodology to generate your trades -- trade with the trend as delineated by the Blue highlighted price bars for an uptrend and by the Red highlighted bar for downtrends.
Hot Zones (Gray for longs and Yellow for shorts) are evaluated as high probability areas to enter or add to positions.
Neither enter nor exit positions in the cross-hatched "ranging" areas.
Exits, profit taking stops and stop loss points are suggested in the daily commentary page.

2) Fractal Trading System 1

This can be done very by easily simple Graph.Plot on Primary Y-axis
the Current value and on secondary Y-axis plot CURRENT/PREVIOUS*100.
By plotting like this we can retain the shape of the LOG graph but
not exact values. Perhaps my visualization is correct.

Correction:On intraday's graph it may NOT create MUCH impact.

I compared last ONE year data and I think I am wrong in my visualization.Nifty on LINEAR was much better.I am working
QUATTRO PRO ,but not at all comfortable with EXCEL.Anyway
I will try to IMPORT data there if time permits.
Here it goes.I think Linear scale is much better.

thanks columbus, did u check in linear scale mode, our chart window seems insufficient to display all the historical data, i think it requires some setting
Alex,

I did not get your question?

You can see AN ELEMENT of flatness in LOG scale.Perhaps this flatness is due to the range of SECONDARY Y-AXIS which is 9000.(1000~10000).When I tried to change the axis values to 3000~7000,it is refusing to take it.Perhaps LOG scale takes values in multiple of 10's.
