Columbus , do u know how this VIX is calculated ???

For me or any one else will agree today's session was more volatile than yesterday
Devan,
If you are REALLY interested in knowing about VIX,visit NSE's website.
I do not think today market was more volatile than Yesterday, just because SAR,was a bit easier to locate today.

Think if we can hold on to 2714 with volumes, a positional trade for a target of 2973 is good enough...Though we might find it very difficult to surpass that level unless a huge volume is seen...On the other hand as we see the two brown lines converging, i think that the volatility should come down as there is little gap to fluctuate...if we have a negative closing tomorrow we might get to see 2432 by nov 25th from the chart...

Dow is down in the red now...Ours will be the 6th consecutive day of fall (may be) tomorrow....Todays PCR is down but Will have to wait and watch for it tomorrow to confirm the south level of 2432..

We are in a tricky situation.Nifty always gained after 5 consecutive losses.
But Nifty Futures settlement was at same price (at 2810)yesterday and before
that. But Nifty closed at 2800 yesterday and 2810 the day before.

As far as NIFTY was concerned ,it was a 5 day consecutive loss. But Nifty Futures neither gained nor lost ,yesterday.
