Dear pra,
Safe zone stop method is invented by Alexander Elder & his student in his book trading for living, the basic concept is how to trail your stops and avoid your position getting frequently stopped out by smart operators.
How i use it in practice as shown above? well SZ gives a figure before hand, at right age of the chart if ur short then sz stop is 2897.04 ( its just illustration as market has been closed so i dont count that fig.) as per saints flow method i wd reverse to long after crack of pivot but suppose new pivot formed at 2920 then instead of waiting i will cover my part positions at sz stop 2897.04. ( again, its just an example, actually i use 15 min tf and book my part positions as per sz stops ). Same apply for sz stops for long, which is now 2845.15 ( in red font ).
Its practical application is only useful for setting trailing stoplosses and try to maintain remain in flow.
Hope it clears
Alex
p.s. about using afl file as pra said unzip with the help of free application winrar, then save that file in c<programs<amibroker<formulas<custom
then restart amibroker, n u will find that afl out there under charts<custom now left click on that afl and drag it on the main chart and done.

Hi vijay,
sorry friend i am out of station & to explain more i need a chart along with the explanation, otherwise it wd confuse more..
in short if sz stops making new low and u in short then no problem, but if market starts moving up and sz stop made new high then u get out and yes in miniflow i put trail stops on every 15 min candle to book part profit( remember this afl gives stops 15 mini in advance when u use 15 min tf) , operative word is pat profit not entire position, i usually keep my remaining position as per miniflow rules
regards
alex
p.s. dont use on 5 min tf it creates lot of whipsaws and dnt use it on stocks there also lot of whipsaws on larger time frames, in my exp it only worked well for nf

Hi,

NF -10min OR (2830 -2810 ) 20 points.
A downs at 2800.
[ will post chart after market. didnt trade as validation came around 2780, thought personally of being near the completion of todays True range ( prev. close was 2868, so validation at 2780 was a littile bit less efficient/profitable, so personally avoided to take position. but who knows ACD is so smarter than our thought-- truely as per Mark fisher- ACD entries are so poised that make trades highly probable profitable. also with todays move ATR and volatility seems increasing. Alex, i will start ACD thread in this week, could not compile basic info due to weekend activities]
