Bought Nifty Fut @ 2713.65 SL 2699.95 & carrying home till Tuesday.

ditto bought at 2718.. & sold puts when nifty was 2699

many... 1st a bullish engulfing in hourly, 2nd nifty got support whole day at 2700/20 levels, pull back had good vols, many indicators pointing to a bounce, a gap needs filling, 2700 puts oi still strong... rest I will say if the Nifty actually bounces on tue to 2850 otherwise mums the word...

Buy march put of strike 2700 near 125 rs
sell march 2 put strike 2400 near 45 (butterfly without lower wing)

max loss = 35 rs
max profit = 265 rs (if nifty closes near 2400 in march)

I don't see any reason for bullishness now!...
may be bit of short covering that will not take Nifty above 2750 reason...
2500 level is well ahead

Yes,i would close my positions & wait to re-enter on higher side, if it cant cross 2740 in the Opening & in case of Gap Down your above points encouraged me that 2700 is well defended today.
I have an excellent indicator to gauge the Mkt strenght, whenever i loose by 10 points instantly an alarm bell rings,it has to be Ulta Sauda,i took a wrong directional call. Today my 2nd Shorts Stop was run & i lost money in the 2nd trade.

many need this alarm...

well as per my indicators where we bought I call it safe zone... even in case of gap down we get exit with minimum damage... unless DOW goes lower circuit...
