Nifty Futures Trading

u know, lalith... instead of shorting 1 lot of NF, u should split this up by using 2 or 3 lots of MINI NIFTY...
your risk profile remains the same, plus at the same time, you can book part profits near key levels and keep a trailing stop for rest...
I am tracking nifty for past 6 to 8 months and I am comfortable with Nifty...
i use only 1 lot initially then add to winniig positions with 2 or 3..

But I would thank you for pointing out this..

tracking error between normal nifty future (50) and mini nifty future (20) is hardly 1 pt... you can easily take position in mini even while studying normal NF...

with only one lot, one will always not be sure to pick the sure-shot target... therefore, it's better to trade with mini (for those with less risk profile), and keep booking part profits... atleast, net-net you won't loose much...
Let me chk that out tomorrow..coz I did not want to get in to anything other that Nifty..But let me give a thght once...
Thanks Tina

sir/madam/whatever,
you'll understand this when u try it on your own...an experienced trader knows the advantage of having more than one lot (mini or normal)
ohh! thanks mam. i will remember your words.

i agree with your opinion. but depends on a particular trader/s game plan.
