nagen, recently i have learnt to restrict my intraday trades with NORMAL qty in three time zones, where some directionl momentum is assured
1. 10-11 (early morning)
2. 12-1 (following EU cues)
3. 2-3 (last hour momentum)

For rest, either i just observe or trade with half (or sometimes even less) of my normal qty.
This prevents me from over-trading & also stops bad (guess work) trades from eating into profitable trades
