The overall Mkt sentiment was Bearish ,hence i started Studying Stock Specific,becoz it is always found in Bearish ambience or even in that matter Bullish ambience that there are always few stocks which BUCKS THE TREND.The intention is to get atleast a couple of them .

We all know now again the Mkt can go Down,hence this is the RISK ,so are our Position sizing Ok,Stop in Place ;if so let us be Relaxed ,let Europe go anywhere ,but we are in Trade thats all,knowing fully well all the pros & cons.

what should be done with stocks in portfolio.i.e.should we place a stop loss there too.or just wait for things to settle down in 1-2 years..

What is expert opinion - is it safe to hold long position overnight?

- Hopefully we close positive after several down days, NF trendline pointing up
- Europe seems to be doing okay, US futures are flat
- Hangseng up 0.9%!

'Punishing' the RNRLs can give you the same feeling of contentment (however watch out for the 200DMA, - should get much lower)

You are asking a Trader ,who will always Job with his Stocks .If you had bought keeping a medium or longer time frame & do not want to take Risk of loosing your poisition then hold tight with SL above entry + brokerage.
