My warm regards to all gurus here (Specially Satya,Ahish,Czar & Renu and Of course Sunil),
I am a little confused whether I'm right or wrong. I am short @4525. Can anybody tell me the stoploss for the same. Should I apply SL or wait for cooling down the levels. This is my first post and of course first trade in future as well. In fact I have shorted as I'm a quite sure that NSG meeting results will not be in favour of India and crude will also not go down very much.

Through curiosity that I opened this thread only to find few chats about Nifty Futures. You have a valid question and a simple solution.

If you are short on Nifty futures at 4525, in my opinion, you are nothing to worry about. The markets should be turning downwards any moment, and then you are out in the clean.

However, in the event the markets do continue the upward journey for some more time, safe thing to do is to buy calls, which you can square off once the market turns down, and may even increase your Nifty Future shorts. You then will have to be in constant touch with the makets, and should not loose any opportunity through oversight.

Take your own decision and avoid putting the blame on me ;-)

Cheers and ood Luck.

Thanks for ur suggestions SS,
In fact i have never trade in option even this was my first trade in future. I have booked my profit @4435 (If I apply trailing SL of 4450 that will break definitely during the session) as i can not watch market thoughout the day (I can spend only for 15-45 menutes daily.. bcz I do it in my office hours ;).
I was prepared for your 2nd option of going another short. I had targeted for 4625 (the major resistance for nifty) but anyways now there is no need for that. Now I will see the market only at closing hours.
Good Luck SS for the rest of the day!

Regards
Abhi
