sir can u make it more clear pls n how u know this

u can go on nseindia site and can check most active calls and puts data,for nifty traders that data is very imp along with open interest in put call ratio, for more knowledge,there r good threads on option in this forum, keep the curiosity alive & u will get to know each and every thing in market.
p.s. it doesnt always means option writers are always smart, in fact in 1990's crash in u.s. there was a one very big hedge fund gone bankrupt by writing put options heavily, so whatever u learn, try the writing very carefully.

around what time? I think it is a foregone conclusion after yesterday that India will clinch the deal...but don't know if it would make a difference to the stock market? I think it already has been priced in the recent uptrend...

Thats what they were preparing for - a drop!

NSG should be a nonissue - financially, unless you start thinking about energy situation 10-15years down. But you never know, what market can react to. :-(
