plz keep in mind that selling has not begun yet,lehmans portfolio in india is worth a few billion$'s atleast and ndtv has been saying there is a possibility portfolio might actully be reduced...
not to forget m2m losses of local traders who were long on friday,nifty as of now down almost 5%,what is to happen if on a average stocks go down another say 3-4%...

just a note out of context....one day during christmas i was reading an article where these biggies including lehman had paid almost 500 million $ as christmas bonus for 8000 odd people,.Thats when i said enough of all b.s,quit my job in u.s as a techie and headed back home...
now realise was lot more happier with a fixed salary...

Well there are no leverage position in market for it to go to LC ..

Also not all traders were LONG .Many were Short!!...

nothing can be concluded...Do not be surprised if the rise is of same magnitude..coz volatality is very high!!
