tomorrow is market holiday; i have no idea about when, but inflation data will be out + US solution package may be out, before friday opening

expecting a ranged trade between 3900 & 4000 (if either level is held in early hours)

touchwood, but this setup is very handy...

at open, see what is sustaining more, TBQs or TSQs for first 2-3 minutes...
then, one gets an initial idea at what point will the first 5 min will break - up or down

if there are more TBQs, then try to buy near lower level, expecting the 5min bar to break on upside (your stop is known & near)

likewise, if TSQs are more, then short near higher level of initial band, expecting 5 min bar to break down....

book partly, and trail for rest

PS: posting this in Asish Da's setup (our library) thread

that was for the OPEN TRADE....9:55-10:00

same thing, when market reopens after outage 11:25-11:30 - same strategy for OPENINGS!!!

but i have noticed, that usually, after re-opening, see in what direction it opens with a spurt... initiate in that direction (it sustains quite a distance) for scalp or trail or combien both, as per your comfy
