Nifty Futures Trading

Trading in Nifty futures is profitable but on the other side it is risky too. Because trading in futures is full of risk. Trading in futures requires lots of margin to trade. Which is to be cared with every movement any dip can take you towards a huge loss.
Jeffsmith: Your concerns are justified. Those who dont understand the risks shd not enter F&O but i presume ppl sharing their ideas on this thread are professionals enuf to handle their trades. Its quite an educative thread for learners as well :)

Asish Da & Arnav,

I am not fully sure yet, but with today's HOD in FUT, it really seems that Jan Fut follows its own course, which it did as Fut -2M during December....

as I mentioned, I follow SPOT charts during such crossover days to avoid confusion, and the corresponding HOD of Wed SPOT 2962 is being met with FUT level of 2973 (Dec FUT HOD was 2964, while Jan FUT HOD was around 2974 on Wed)

check out HODs till now in both SPOT & FUT....

need more such instances, though by EOD today

THE MAIN ISSUE IS TO WHOSE CHARTICAL LEVELS SHOULD BE GIVEN MORE RESPECT - DEC FUT OR JAN FUT?
as of now, Jan Fut seems to be the answer (as Fut -2M in Dec)
we had one more instance yesterday with the CRUCIAL LOW OF THE DAYS:

yesterday's bounce from 2820-2800 zone was expected; the exact level was to be referred from 12-Dec's intra charts.
On 12-Dec, LODs:
Spot = 2813
Dec Fut = 2801
Jan Fut = 2817

Now, check yesterday's LOD:
Spot = 2813
Jan Fut = 2817

so far, it seems that the hypothesis is right:
it really seems that Jan Fut follows its own course, which it did as Fut -2M during December....
