what is more advisable for a long position in a scrip - selling its ATM call or buying ATM put?

what's your experience?

Put 3100 is now at 187

Actually 3100 put is trading around 105

Lagta hai is Giraffe ko Free fund mein sab khaane ko mil raha hai. Mkts taking out HODs like anything. If there would have been 10 mins more we wud have closed above 3150.
Some days back analysts were saying 3200 will not be reached and all those things and now they say even 3500-3600 cn be reached
BULLS are back it seems but for how long?????

I really didnt expect the mkts to jump up this much when they were stagnating for full day.

Spot closes above 3110 @ 3121.45 on settlement basis....
A new higher high has been recorded for EOD charts


and just to analyse:
Fut from 3085 to 3138 = 53
Call 3100 from 115 to 139 = 24
Put 3100 from 127 to 101 = 26

So, hedges cost the same...
