Sorry to puncture your excitement but in the benefit of learning, wud like to state that there is no IB in hourly. notice the body(Open-Close) of the two bars and u will notice so. if it were true IB then we wud be riding high :)

Well, for my trades for IBs (which I have been doing for more than 6mths now), I take the Highs & Lows of the Bars...
today also IB achieved its target - but I am just experimenting on another method which can help increase the points in cases where targets are negligible...

:)

pkamalesh, we have discussed IBs at length in this thread few days back. please browse thru the rules specified therein. even a visual inspection on the chart u have posted clearly shows no IB. for instance see the green bar "body low" and red bar body low. got it. the Green bar opened lower than red bars close. No IB :) check out the rules posted few days ago in this thread for learning.

Wud appreciate if u can share any formula if u have devised/come across to determine targets for IBs.

i read about the method that sunil had posted in the library thread regarding IB's...that was why i was asking if we need to consider the higs/lows of the preceding bar...u can check the Library thread...cheerzz
