Please guide, How reliable are they and when they fail ?

MACD are trailing indicators If I am not wrong i.e. buy already generated or rather price already moves up, then the buy is generated after certain movement of price.

I use RSI and SlowStoch crossover.

Of course all indicators are not 100% sure and chances of errors, whipsaws, sudden and drastic falls etc are always there which will fool the indicators.
