Market open and close for today nifty from 150 discount to 80premium:clap:
An amazing seen which I would like to see daily that 37lac buyers and only 1.65lac sellers:thumb:

The real people who should be thanked are electorate of India who have reduced nuissance up to some extent by giving a deadly blow to communists. They need to be eliminated from indian political scene. May be in next few years. Wish this should come true.

Can u please explain a "Short Squeeze" please? Is it something to the effect of shorters getting pressurised (read squeezed) to square off their holdings?

You are long on 4000ce @Rs. 40/- a contract. Someone must have sold you that contract. i.e. the seller has shorted that contract. Since your call now is deep in the money. The person who sold you is in short squeeze.

yes u right ...

short squeeze is the situation where the demand for a stock escaletes its supply alarmingly ...the trend continues further upward cuz short sellers would literally want to exit the position which in turn further push the price more upward speedily....
