Why not request Saint to start a new thread on intraday trading aslo, in the lines of Teach a Man to Fish. Though have learnt a lot abt intraday from Saint and Uashish sir in this and other threads..and have been profitable BUT not consistent.

Let us request him to start the Intraday Fishing thread so as to put all the pieces of the puzzle toghther.

I think a LOT of us will benifit from it....what do you say..

Well according to your teachings I have covered long below 5178(2 bar method) and I am short from tht time... and if market closes negative today then my SL for the short will be above 5118...
But I have taken wrong postion I think as Daily in in uptrend... and I thought it to be in a rally... which was cleared by jamit... in new intermediate uptrend thread... so I should square off my short postions right? or wait for the SL to be taken away!!!

Hold the shorts........presume you are playing the 60min charts and shorted the breakdown.......so you are short till trends change to the up.Till previous pivot highs are taken out.


Since you are trading the hourly charts,don't worry abt intermed uptrends etc...........keep it simple.Short the breakdown of previous pivot lows.Cover shorts once previous pivot highs are crossed.Use the 2 bar system only if things get vertical.Ride the Trend and Enjoy the Ride!!

Even a chart reader has to be aware if an important news is due. Those numbers can move market rapidly. Inflation, interest rate decisions, company earnings announcements (if you trade stock) need to be tracked due to uncertainty they cause in the trend.

Well my expernc of relating chart and news... has been unproductive untill now... maybe i have not understood the news properly or the charts properly...
So i do not listen to news anymore

Let me add to this... I am not a good trader yet... Indeed not even a good learner yet... I am in my learning process.... and would always be in the learning process... So anyone please do not follow my posts and change decisions... though my Short postion is in profit till now... but tht is because of my wrong interpretion of Saints pivot method(this time "lucky" with my wrong interpretation, but "luck is the last thing" to expect in technical analysis)...

I still need the senior members guidance to become a sucessful student of the market... and would always need the guidance

Your short position is not at all a fluke.......nice entry.If NF closes weak today,your new stop loss would be a bit above today's high,which also is the latest pivot high.

Cover and reverse to long if that happens.

Now a Low of 5034.00 is sustaining for 5 mins if in this present Down movement 5043.10
(present price) can hold for 15 mins then with Day's low as Stop i am going to cover & reverse my position to Long,otherwise hold the Short.
