Onening a chart in PIB can be done by Highlighting on the scrip & then click F5 button.Then on the Option button above the chart -> add indicator-> volume,after you get volume to keep that fixed you can right click on the chart & use 'save settings'.
Hope this satisfies your query.

Thanks. I was doing that only but now realized my silly mistake. I was trying to get Volume for Nifty charts and thus no Volume was coming. But for scripts it is coming. Thanks.
