as for today's trade, in defense of pivots, i can just say that it's a result of over 4 days ranged trades... 4150-4350 either had to break...

coz of such ranged trades, the pivotal values tend to become nearer... difference between S2 and R2 for today was around 100 points...

by the way, today it has moved from S3 to nearly R3 (very rare for such extreme values to be tested in one trading day... obviously because the difference between these values was contracted due to ranged trades)
