lagta hain kumbh ke mele se bichade the, to sirf nifty futures aur options hi hamara "birth mark" tha!!!

LOL

u r riight; it's +35
and if u take 2 lots of Put 2600, then +70

TOTAL GROSS PROFIT = -70+60+30+70=+90*50 = Rs 4500 PER LOT WITH 6 LOTS' (excluding brok)TRADING

Yeah it looks As if "with 6 lots" we are earning a very small profit, But according to me if you check the R:R ratio... its very favourable with the expiry sooo near.

And even if actually have 6 lots, the maximum risk taken is on 1 lot. i.e below 2500 or above 2900 we lose as per a loss of 1 lot.
I don't know how much margin requirement do you guys need in this strategy... but it shouldn't be a lot especially cause you have brought 2 lots and sold 4...

And Yup.. God gave you Nifty Futures kee awesome knowledge and mujhe thode bahut options bata diye.. hehe

Now that was really informative discussion. thank you guys...
Just asked my broker, seems margin requirement are more then what is required for futures, he says there need to be money for total buying plus premium.. cudnt understand him completely but it seems its is required around 28k per lot for any lot around 50-80 Rs.

Also your calculations mein bhi garbar hai !

Buy 50 2700 Call @ 70 ===== NP = -70
sell 100 2800 call @ 30 ===== NP = +60

Buy 50 2700 Put @ 70 ====== NP = +30
Sell 50 2600 Put @ 35 ====== NP = +35

GORSS PROFIT = -70+60+30+35 PER LOT
= +55 PER LOT

Shudnt it be
Buy 50 2700 Put @ 70 ====== NP =-30

and thus GROSS PROFIT= - 5 PER LOT???
