Savant ji,

not sure, but my understanding is, it is a 4 & 5 cross over on 15 min. with BB (9,2).

my profit figures are 0.48 ( when entry at 2 bar opening after cross over) and 0.30 ( entry at next bars opening)

PS: shorting when piercing of BB is also considered, the profits will be more, but I not sure about that strategy., but, it is giving a profit of 1.52.

waiting for your clarifications.

I have TT of sharekhan, but whenever I edit values other than DEFAULT
values the BANDS are disappearing. The default values are (SMA20,2).
I would like to see how the day nifty future chart would look like
if the following values are taken.
1.(SMA30,2)
2.(SMA20,3)

Hi Prasad,

This Is Different, It Was Just An Exercise To See Considering 0.01 (1 Pip) Equals to 9.6 USD Profit, Therefore There Are Many Many Entries Not Just On 4&5 SMA Crossover, I Have Added A Median BB Also There For A Reason, Besides SMAs.

I Am Sure Even The Best Forex Traders Would Be More Than Happy, Infact Elated, With The Profits You Indicated. But There Is Much Much More In There.....:)

Don't Break Your Head On It Too....Much,

Forex Trading Needs To Be Milked For Every Ounce & There Are Lots Of Juicy Opportunites On The Charts....Am Not Talking 2 or 3 Pips

Anyways, Someday Will Explain The Forex Trading On Major Pairs.

Infact, No Indian Broker Offers Anything Good, Including Most International Brokers Make An Idiot Out Traders With Fixed Spread, Which Is A Myth.

Will Talk About ECN Account, That Also Is A Topic For Another Day.

Congratulations ! You Did Very Very Well Extracting That Much Out Of It, Just Looking At The Chart.

Hi Columbus,

Changing STD to 3 Does Not Do Anything For BB Either In 20 or 30, Even 20,2 & 30,2 If You Are Going To Keep Those Parameters, It Is Better Not To Have It All, There Are Different Types Of BB If You Want To Play Aroung With.

Hi savant,

1. A simple moving average in the middle
2. An upper band (SMA plus 2 standard deviations)
3. A lower band (SMA minus 2 standard deviations)

Just out of curiosity I wanted to see the impact of STD.What are the different BBs?

Hi Columbus,

You Want Stay Up All Night, Fine...:) You Have BB With Open, High, Low & Close (Close Is What We Use Normally) & How Many Different MAs Do You Know Of, You Can Have BBs With All The MAs You Know....I Think That Much Will Keep You Up Till Market Opens.

Others, I Will Tell You About After The Market....:) Or You Will Get An OD, My Friend.
