Hi Lancer,

Market Is Very Benevolent Towards Those Who Follow Discipline & Merciless For The Ones Who Don't.

Most Broker's Have That Stupid Habit, & Bad Part Being They Don't Really Worry About The Client's Capital, Only Their Brokerage, Stop Them From Doing Trades On Your Behalf.

20/50 Crossover Is Basically For Longish Investment & Charting Software I Am Going To Get One Tomorrow, Don't Know What Exactly It Is Capable Of, Once I Am Satisfied After Putting It Through The Wringer, You Can Have It, As I Understand Their Are No Re-Distribution Issues With It.

Stay Put With Your Job, When You Become Confident About Every Aspect Of Trading & Investing, You Can Then Give In To The 'Master Of The Universe' Urge Of Yours,

Market Ain't Going Anywhere, It Will Still Be There Whenever You Are Ready.

Happy & Safer Trading

Yes Savant, it not always about the money but the inner desire to excel ones ownself to earn his own respect from within himself for peace and the sanctity of mind. It is not also as if one can do without money but obviously there is a balance of it, somewhere in between with underlaying obliviousness. With lots of it or without much it, there is again a sense of emptiness that engulfs the animal within the man.
I think there is a fine dividing line between greed and need. They need to be carefully segregated to define the objectives.

It quite surprising that this thread is not frequented by the members like "Stocks To Keep Watch....", where as here lays the soul of the market. Infact, I have found your RES & SUPP levels quotes rather confusing in some ways. Please let me know if I am getting your implications right now.

NF CLOSE	4551.15

PIVOT 4439.00

1. The most likely scenario is BEARISH / CORRECTION:) move to the levels of 4439.

2. In the most likely event of the index moving downwards, it again faces resistance @ 4492, 4465 before reaching the PIVOT target of 4439

3. If at all NF makes an upwards movement with minimal chances, it has Resistance pegged @ 4557, 4623,4649 and 4676.

4. In such case that it breaches the Pivot 4439, it will have major supports @ 4373, 4308.

5. Swing 4308 < 4551> 4676 is the current possibilities, with upside chances being remote.

Hi Lancer,

Looking At All The Thresholds For Today...A Few Things That Come To My Mind.

R3 Which Is Basically 6 Points Above The Close Of NF & Then Huge Move From There To R4 & Then Approximately A 25 Point Difference From R4 To R5 & About The Same From R5 To R6, Gives Me Some Sense That NF Maybe On The Verge Of Breaking Out From Its Range Of Last Few Days, Thereafter All Other Resistances Which Then Become Supports Will Assume Greater Importance In The Days To Come, Yes There Are A Few Minor Supports, Besides Major Support Zones In Todays Figures But Are Of Greater Importance For Days To Come.

If NF Is Going To Breakout On Either Side, Then Todays Figures Are What It Will Normally Look Like For Any Other Day, This Is Especially True When NF Has Been In A Range.

JAI BABA,

Hmm.... needs some guts to go long or short at these levels. Think, it is high time that the index takes a decisive turn. It becomes a problem take any position, when the FII's & DII's take to intraday and / or swing trading.

Re: Nifty Intraday Pivot Points for 10th June 2009

If It Crosses R3 Then Would Be Quite Safe With A 25 Point Trailing S/L For Intraday.....For Positional It Would Be Better To Give It A Pass....Looks Like A Decisive Day For Breaking Out On Either Side Of The Range.
Banking May Play A Bit Of Spoilsport In This
