Nifty Intraday Pivot Points

To be honest i have never used piovt points for any trade, so i cannot comment on his pivot calculations. All i can say is that he may be posting it here on this forum so that people who do use pivot points are benefited. The act of using the "personal" also does seem to suggest that he may not be of sure if it would reach the target, hence giving it that tag. Whatever it may, he still seems to stick by it.

My Personal Targets have never been mentioned here before except this one of 4264, which was posted on the day my ealier target of 4192 was achieved & Surprisingly nobody mentioned anything or even asked me whether they should hold their Longs in NF for my personal Target because at that point in time probably everybody thought it was achievable. Now that it doesn't seem achievable to some, have started this conversation...leave alone even asking as to from what point I am sitting on NFs

I did not see this one till yet. I was happily answering the other query regarding Ashwin Gujral (PBUH) started by GreenDesert. I said there I will not post for another 6 months as I had done my quota (incidentally personal quota of not writing).

I think Savant is sharing what he is doing. I posted an Excel file of his with his historical pivots plus his remarks if any. It has helped me see how to build up a position. If I had gone in with his initial pivot and aggregated, then I would be sitting on a nice tidy sum. Plus he was clear about telling people to divorce in case they were married to them. I found this one hilarious, as I keep thinking of divorcing other issues.

When someone does venture in, he still has to do so based on his own clarity and thinking and not be in a blame game. If you think you are being set up, and if it right, even so the responsibility lies with the person who has given up his ability to think freely. As Mr. Jain himself pointed out, there is a sucker born every minute or so.

I finally entered two trades, one on Th & one on Friday. Going by his stop loss on the first day, I lost Rs 900. On the second day, I decided instead to use the second support which was also hit and on a single lot, I ended up loosing 5000. It has not detered me to remain in at 4003 and I understand that I may loose some more. I also saw a clear validation of his lower support level at 3922 posted for Friday because as soon as it was breached, there was a buy of 200300 Nifties which took it quickly up to 3945. Had I had the guts I would have bought at least 4 lots and made up for my beginners losses.

It is a democratic forum and a democratic post. In a democracy, it is the outlook of a citizen to ensure that he understand his own rights. No one is forcing anyone here. It is easy for someone to point, but would one of those hotshot teachers discussed in the other post by Greendesert, give us pivots for free or for that matter most of the people who trade and are part of the forum here. Savant is staking something here, and that is his own value judgement. Let us appreciate a person who obviously is not scared to put up his convictions for others to either learn from or criticize. The choice is always on us as readers of his post.

And let me thank Savant and all the rest on this forum once again who are assisting. And also those who criticize, because they also are doing an equally important job here. So SavantGarde, you should also not take this as personal effrontery.

Let us see what happens on Monday. Who is wagering that Monday will see a further erosion, not based on technicals but on gut feeling. And even on such a day, one can easily make 25 points by gluing oneself to the data feed.

People always criticize when one goes wrong but they never come out to congratulate when you are going right. So my advice and request to you keep the good work going. I read your post regularly. I do not trade using them every time but they are usually correct.
