Nifty MAGIC Levels For Today

Today we had only only lvl which was sell below 5008, but since we opened gap down below, it was risk to enter at this lvl What did you do.

Dear Prem,Nifty did a gap-down opening and we should not short there at opening....later nifty tried to go above Magic and failed and it was a short there or if not confident enough, its again a short by LVL 3 ,short below 5008 ....we can short there with s/l 5020...also nifty gave 2 chances to short at 5008...no trade is possible without risk of loss...we limit our loss with stoploss and so a safe trade is one with small stoploss...in that sense short at 5008 was a safe trade as stop loss was just 12 points.

How we could have traded with levels today....Nifty opened around 5000 and we had Magic at 5018 and buy above 5030 and sell below 5008 by LVL 3 near the opening rates.As nifty has had a big gap down we need to be very carefull to short right away and so we are not to short at 5008 near opening.Nifty tries to overcome Magic at 5019 but the high was 5019.70 and selling started.It can be shorted around Magic or we have 5008 to sell...As nifty was not falling as expected trade was closed at 20 point profit.Again nifty tries to head to the highs but reached only 5014 so again its sell below 5008 or it could have been short breaking the low of 4982 when the hell broke loose and nifty crashed to 4900...

For 20th we have 4982 and 4864 as Magic Numbers and so its buy above and sell below each Magic ....


LVL 1)BUY NIFTY FUTURES ABOVE 4993.... S/L below 4973.. SELL BELOW 4971... S/L ABOVE 4991.


LVL 2) Buy NIFTY FUTURES ABOVE 4875 .S/L below . 4855... Sell below 4853... S/L above 4873......


LVL 3) BUY above 5078--S/L below 5058. ... SELL below 5056.. S/L above 5076 ...

It is very interesting to see your magic levels. Among the pivot methods tried by me(pivot,Camerila levels, fibo, woddie levels) your "MAGIC LEVELS" stands apart. It is very accurate on many occasions. My heariest congrats and thanks for your guidance. My request is to know whether it involves complex calculations other than the regular pivot calculating method or it is done on guess? anyway your service is great. I also wish to know whether a person like me with just 2 yrs exposure to mkt can reach such levels of accuracy? I will also try your levels from now on on smaller scale till I gain some expertise. Dear Selvan,Yes these levels do work most of the days in normal market conditions but on huge gap up/down days like this Friday, its better not to trade with these levels.These levels are derived from the previous days nifty data taking the average Nifty Volatility Index as 31 and so will work only when Nifty volatility is average ...levels will fail when nifty is too volatile or moving sideways.I request you to paper trade and fully understand before going for real trades.Money saved is also money earned in trading.
