Yes We have been Tracking this MAX Pain theory for the past 4 months. Yes it has worked once again. When the market was at around 6175 NF, the MAX Pain was at 5900. So whoever believed the theory and shorted from those levels would have got 240 points. Whether the Credit Spread or Debit spread works the MAX Pain theory seems to be working. And every time it has given at least 200 points :thumb::clap:

May I go for Naked PE (for very less amount of risk)?

I am taking 5900PE@60/- & 6000CE@32/- pair X 2 lots....!

MAX Pain changed from 5800 to 5900. so it would be better to close 100%, the Positional Call taken at 6150. Since 3 days are left to Expiry, the market can play with a tight range for the rest of the three days. Those who want to Trade can Credit Spread of 5700-6000 Pair. I mean sell the Pair 5700-6000. The MAX OI also changed from 5300-6000 to 5700-6000. Try to Sell the Pair around 5850. Those Who are Short Close the positions between 5850 and 5900

May be you have not configured to not include the XX50 strikes. XX50 strikes was introduced in this month in the NIFTY Options. But the volume XX50 strikes is negligible compared to the XX00 strikes. So you can make the tool ignore the XX50 strikes by removing "NIFTY" in the hidden sheet "SODATA" in the cells BA2:BA22.
can you please elaborate how to do that ? i know nothing about excel sheets:lol:

So the ideal way it worked was if i remember correct, in both the cases, Max pain moved from a lower level (5800) where it was for considerable number of days to 5900 and from there the delta was around 250 Points. Same thing happened in last series where Max pain moved to another level and then retraced back.
So ideally wait for the max pain to increase/decrease and then take trade accordingly. For this series, I was tracking this, 5900PE (Considering Max Pain at this level) was trading at 15Rs, on Thursday and Friday morning. So easily 4X returns in less than 2 days
Now need to see how to translate into a workable trade

Hi

I will probably not be much around in the next few days and maybe even weeks. So take care, be wise with your trading decisions, thanks at the moment for your support to me, hope my little input helped others here and see you as soon when time again permits. :)

Until then / DanPickUp
