The MAX OI has changed from 6000-6400 to 6200-6400. The MAX Pain remains at 6200. The MAX COI is at 6400-6600. So may there is a Breakout at 6400. So those who are holding the Shorts Please watch 6335-6345. If it breaks, Hold your Shorts, Otherwise Book your shorts and Go Long
Since the Trend seems to be Bullish, Those Who want to Trade the Pair can Sell the Pair at the MAX COI. 6400PE-6600CE @ 127. Keep the Stoploss as 6325 SPOT

dear raj, jindalsteel is trading at 270 while max pain is at 280 but weak bear. can we go long?
Today there was Early morning BD in Jindalstel and generated a BUY signal at lows. Try to Buy around 270 (MAX Pain) for Target of 275 (the Earlier support). If breaks above can be kept for 280. But it is still a Risky Trade considering the BD today.

Raj,

I want to say THANKS to you... for your GREAT SKILLS in READING these VERY DIFFCULT thing like OI.... (For me it is always a UNSOLVED PUZZLE)

With your these TEACHINGS and with YOUR GREAT OAT TOOL... I now statred little understanding of OI... and OPTIONS....

You are really an INSPIRATION for NEWBIES LIKE me... who want to LEARN MARKETS with these OI and OPTIONS.

Thanks a LOT.

When you get time... CAN You tell me which is the GOOD BOOK one should Read as a BEGINNER for LEARNING OPTIONS and OI?

Again thanks in ADVANCE.

REGARDS

Would it not be better to buy 6600CE @ 20 rather than sell pair ?
In this month, I have not seen the The CE Premium appreciating very much in proportion to the NIFTY movement. Moreover NIFTY changes the MAX OI @ CE from 6400 and 6500. So may be 6450 can be the Top. You must have seen how the ITM / ATM CEs are loosing the Premium due to VOLATILITY. So when it comes to Pair, if the Intermediate Trend is Bullish then SELL the Pair.

If you want to Try naked Options, then I would suggest to Buy 6200 PE @ 40 and hold if 6330 Breaks today. Then it would be as per the Trend and the Support can come at 6240. And from there you can buy 6450 CE or 6500 CE or 6600CE. Now buying 6600CE is Risky.

Raj , OI at 6500 is higher than OI at 6200 pe. Doesn't it reflect a bearish trend as per discussions which were there in this thread ? Please throw some light on how you are bullish .

Sach,

For the Options there are a lot of Books. But frankly I have not gone through any of those books because it was really overwhelming. Whatever I learnt in Options is through Googling. May be the Option Experts can Suggest some good sites. Our Option Gurus in TJ are DanPickup and Columbus. DanPickup has dedicated threads from which you can learn the options.

Coming to the interpretation of OI, you will not find this in any books because it is completely my Interpretation using my observation OR may be nobody wrote a book because the behavior may be specific to Indian market.
